THE TAP

VISIT US

Our taproom and riverside beer garden are situated just off the canal towpath between Slaithwaite and Marsden, approximately a 2.5 mile easy stroll or roll from the railway stations at either village.

Right on the edge of the Yorkshire Pennines, the Colne Valley is a brilliant, beautiful place to visit with walks, cycling routes, great food + drink and regular transport public links to Huddersfield, Manchester and Leeds.

Please don't bring your car unless absolutely necessary because we have limited parking.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR VISITORS

Please help us to keep our site clean, pleasant and safe for everyone:

  • Drive dead slow on site and look out for children and animals.
  • Don’t park on the double yellows or block our neighbours’ driveways.
  • Limited customer parking is available at the rear of the mill.
  • Keep dogs on a lead and take home any dog waste.
  • Peace! Noisy dogs (and humans) may be asked to move on.
  • Please return glasses to the bar, or a table. Never leave glasswear on the grass.
  • Supervise children, especially near the river and driveway. Our site is a working mill with delivery trucks throughout the day.
  • Use the litter bins and ashtrays provided.
  • Don’t leave litter on site or in the flowerbeds.
  • Respect our neighbours and leave quietly when it's time to go.
